Whining doesn't work. You can whine about the government or your friends or your job or your family, but nothing will happen except that you'll waste time.

Even worse whining actually creates the opposite of your intent... The more you whine, you will notice that whatever you are whining about becomes true. So in short: The more you complain, you create more stuff to complain about.

But what if you dedicated that same amount time to being optimistic? It may not be as easy, but at least you would have created something of value.
