Do you remember Pop Rocks? The candy, which looked like gravel and crackled on your tongue? I used to love the candy until I heard rumors that kids had actually died from a"burst stomach" — after eating them.Of course we know now that it wasn't nothing more than a urban legend.
Now whenever I think of Pop Rocks can't help but think of the The Simpsons episode when Homer stole the Gummy de Milo. Check it out below if you never seen it. Priceless.
It began with only a name that reminded me of Houston/Texas/Southern culture, "Grits". The concept was simple, "No Grits No Glory", It's a reminder that if you want to do something you love for living, you will have to put your whole self into it. Hold back and you won't. It's that simple. This is what defines us and gives us a sense of self and what keeps us young.
Our creed is “No Grits No Glory”… At Grits, we grind our own peppers... and design clothing for those who do the same.
